Love you guys!
peace and grace!
So last weekend me and a crew of friends/family from crihop went to check out Kevin Dedmon and the Firestarters team at Dayspring in Springfield. Kevin wrote “The Ultimate Treasure Hunt“, which I read awhile back and found it pretty good and a good practical guide to getting someone started in and comfortable with supernatural evangelism, which maybe comfortable isn’t the word maybe confident would be where we want to stay. Now, some people try to follow treasure hunts like a law and don’t allow themselves to really see it’s freedom, which in turn miss all the other opportunities because it wasn’t on their list. Just don’t get trapped and turn it into another religious “how to”. Actually…that goes for everything.
With all that I would recommend the book.
Anyways, Friday was the first night and it was pretty goooood. I enjoy the message of identity Kevin speaks. Michael and I actually had a convo with one of the girls on the way there about healing and identity and everything Kevin said that night was pretty much word for word of what we talk to her about. Though his was more organized, ha. It was some good fun. At one point (or more) Kevin and the team would through out a words and people just started getting healed in the crowd and Jesus was receiving praise. The real fun, for me anyway, came at after the meeting as people were leaving. Me and Michael went out in to the foyer looking to grow some legs out, when I saw this older gentleman (Lee) with a walker come up beside us. I asked him what was wrong and he responded almost with a “I know the drill” type face saying “I had an aneurysm…” and started naming off some of his pain. He really seemed like there was no hope he would be healed and didn’t expect anything. So I asked if we could pray for him and he agreed. I asked him where the most pain was and he said his hip. So we began commanding the pain to leave. I asked how it was and he said “pains still there”. We prayed again and asked how it was. He said still pain….but there’s a little heat on the back of my knee. Honestly I didn’t think much about it…cuz I mean we weren’t praying for his knee, right? ha Jesus, You are beautiful. Anywho, we then moved on to his back. He said that he had surgery where they put a hole in his spine to drain his brain…intense. So prayed for it and his ribs…pretty much the rest of the things he listed previously. I then asked him how he felt and he said his leg was on fire (the one we prayed for)…saying “what you do!” HA! I asked how the pain was and he said it was none! HAHA! Michael and I got wacked after that. Consciencely joy was all I could feel like a literal explosion inside went off when he said it was on fire. Pure fun. Shouldn’t it be that way since we live in the kingdom…or the kingdom lives in us?
Now that we ourselves were on fire, we went back out to the sanctuary to find more peeps to love. I asked another one of the girls with us to pick out a person with back pain. She picked out a guy toward the middle, so we headed over there. The guy was talking to another guy and I didn’t want to interrupt. So, I pick the closest guy to us. I asked him if he had pain in his back and you could see it on his face. “Ya, all the time”, he said. I asked if he could feel it now and he said he did. So we sat him down, leg grew out, stood him up to test it out (I rhyme), had him try to touch his toes and it still hurt. We then laid hands and had him test it again and the pain was gone, but he didn’t want to touch his toes. Still awesome though, pain was gone! Come on! (I rhyme again…muahaha) I then told Michael “Right shoulder!”, I was calling it out. I then looked over to Patrick and he was talking to a guy he knew from the ‘church’. So, hollered at them and asked the guy if he had right shoulder issues. They walked over and he told us that he couldn’t sleep on his right side because of a rotator cuff injury some time back. I had him show me what he couldn’t do, which he couldn’t raise his arm up all the way. We laid hands and asked how it was, which it still hurt but not as bad. So, hit it again and boooooom! He lend over and said it was gone. Full rotation and everything! JESUS!!!
Joe, a guy passing by, had some feet and ankle pain so we laid hands and saw some relief, we then chalked it up to a Kevin term, “H.I.P’, Healing In Progress. Now for some of you ‘hardcore healers’ that may seem like a cop out, but seriously I have the Holy Spirit inside me. When I touch people God touches people. So I don’t always have to force it cuz I should know it…’s done. Back to Joe, he had some pretty good progress, so praise Papa! He is always, always good. (The next day Joe said he felt good.)
We then started to leave and on the way out I saw this group of 4 older ladies and they had all just bought the treasure hunt book and were grouped together chatting about it. I notice they were signed, ha. I approached the group and told them it was a good book, you know a little chit chat. I then asked if one of them had knee pain and one of the ladies lit up and raised her hand. (So much fun) I asked if they hurt now and she said kinda and proceeded to tell us that Kevin had called out right knee but both of her knees hurt so she receive it or stand up as suggested by Kevin. Not 100% sure on how that works, I thinks it’s like Mark 2:11 thing, but I know God still wanted to heal her so we went the laying of hands route. We had her test them out and she could squat about 150° before she starting feeling pain. So I laid hands on both knees and command wholeness. The others were also laying hands and prophecy. Tisha saw her dancing with Jesus and that she loved dancing. We prayed about 4x’s and she was dancing at the end. She came out into the aisle and start hopping up and down and dancing around with no pain. Awesomeness! We then prayed for her eyes, which I, personally, haven’t seen healed before, and they got better but not 100% while we were there.
Saturday @ 1 we had a treasure hunt. Funny thing, Me and Joe (from our group) decided to split from our main crew and go out with other groups. Kevin asked if there was a guy that could drive so I raised my hand and then he said it was for a group of 4 girls. I quickly drop my arm and laughed with the guys saying that would be awkward especially telling my wife later. Then I headed down to find a group and met a lady that we prayed for the night before. (Robin, btw I didn’t tell you that story) She asked me to join her group, which was composed of her daughter, Rachelle, and 3 other girls from Shawnee, OK, Devon, Reimi, ?, and just so happens mom had to go to another group. So, here I am left with driving 4 girls. Believe me I was lol’ing inside.
… I was thankful tho that they were eager Jesus lovers and didn’t mind cleaning out my car, ha… my trunk is still full. Anyways we had a pretty good group of lists, but since none of us knew the area we just headed to Wal-Mart, which as you may know is “Disneyland for the sick” -CB. I did find myself sticking to the list and passing up some injured people and actually that has been frequent lately, which I’m not happy with it. (honesty) The Lord will never give up tho and wants me to understand Love and to know Him more and more. So pray for understanding of revelation and for wisdom to walk it out…love that is. Back to the journey. At Wal-Mart we encounter several of our clues and were able pray and prophecy over a few families and individuals. It was fun meeting new people, making connections, listening to hearts and stories, and being light.
We got back and the service was at 6 that night and it was again fun. I learn about joy and am still pondering it. Like before several were healed by the team. God is good! All in all the weekend was very encouraging and much needed. I’m glad to be updating you guys too. Like I was saying before, I felt like I’ve been in a funk lately with praying for the sick and acting like I am, but like I also said He won’t give up is pursuit for me and He is so eager for me to mature like Him. So in turn I will love people for Him. Holy Spirit is SO GOOD! His Love is incredible and I don’t even know that much about it, ha!
You guys are blessed!

The link above is to a book. I must say that the Lord had me ready for this book. Don’t let the title offend you, if it does. It isn’t a bash. If you have the time and feel the draw, please read.
I HIGHLY recommend it.
Bless you guys!
¡Hola!
Tuesday (10/28) evening me and Clyde went to the OCC campus…it was fun. We started out just walking down to the cafeteria and could kinda feel the awkwardness (eyes seemed to be on us). Honestly, both of us previously felt like it would be pretty rough. Btw I handed our card out so, guys if you’re reading I’m just being honest with love
. But we knew we would encounter religious mindsets and thought that we would encounter debate, which we didn’t want to be apart of, but the Lord really had hearts ready…even mine. The first cat we ran into at the bottom of the steps was a bit wary and young. We asked him if he knew anyone that was sick, injured, etc. He said that there was something going around…I felt that he had it. I asked if he did and he said ya. So we prayed with him. He talked a little bit longer with us, saying he was wary of “faith healing”. I told him that it was just doing what Jesus did. We loved him
.
Then we headed upstairs to the top cafe and it was pretty empty making it easier to approach people, yet awkward…ha. We approached a few groups and then approached Chris and Ryan. We asked if they knew of anyone sick or injured. They said not really tho I could tell that Ryan had something. So I asked if he had back pain…and…he did. We whipped him around and Michael checked his legs. I then sat by Chris and said “his leg’s about to grow out and I want to explain why.” And sho nuff it was short and just popped out. Ryan felt it too. So the stage was set. (show and tell gospel, not that OCC isn’t saved, but the FULL gospel, word AND power, will set minds free) I started engaging with Chris about faith and healing. At first he said “so you came here to tell us about faith, instead of going out there and teaching them”…ha I thot it was funny, which no doubt, if I were there I would have had the same reaction. It just opened the door to explain ourselves. We then sat there for about 45 minutes, prolly, explaining identity. There were a few other things they said that kinda blew me away, that a christian would actually say these things. I just kept thinking “man, I was here. Thank you Jesus”. I asked one of them why they don’t heal the sick here and he said “cuz there really aren’t any opportunities to. There are hospitals and shelters available for them to go to…etc.” Church, do you hear that? See who the broken are running to? We are the ones with God inside us, are we not?…grrr. No wonder they’re not banging down our ‘church’ doors. ha (you love em’ Lord) I also got this from another guy that sat down, “well I think what you’re talking about is important and needed, but I don’t feel that’s what I’m called to do….”. Just take these comments to the scriptures. Religion will kill you without you knowing. That comment opened the door for me to speak into his life tho, I had some words for him. I shared the Fathers heart for him. In the end love was in the air. ha it was awesome. I think we sowed good seed and Holy Spirit was really working, which when isn’t He?
We then headed outside where Dan was waiting. We briefed him with testimony
. As we were waiting for what was next, I spotted a knee brace on a girl running. I yelled “what happened to your knee?” and she made her way across the lawn to us. I met her in the middle and she said “the doctors don’t know what’s wrong.” I asked if it was hurting and she said “it always hurts”, me “so right now? Can I pray for it?”. She said “ya”. I laid hands on her knee and commanded healing. I had her check it and she said it was better, then I said let’s hit it again, which she obviously wasn’t used to ‘praying again’. I went ahead and hit it again. She then took off the brace and smiled, saying “It doesn’t hurt anymore”. She was kinda set back and was just smiling big. I briefly explained identity and she said if I was still out here when she got out of the gym she’d let me know how it felt….and she walked off with brace in hand. HA YA!!!
I let Dan and Michael know how it went and we then were thinking, “what next?”. There was a group of girls (5 or so) that walked by and sat on the concrete ledge right by us. I said to d&m “So…let’s get one of the friends to grow out another ones legs”. I walked over and asked if any of them had back pain and one was like “Oh ya!”. I looked at another one and asked “can I have you do something for me?”. I continued to explain that she would be growing out her friend’s leg in Jesus name. So I had the friend sit and even out and then had the other friend take her legs…and they watched it all the way out. I had the girl with the hurt back stand up and touch her toes, which she normally couldn’t do, and she bend down and touched them. She had a smile on the way up. Now the stage was set. Gospel time! We prayed for another girl, which had a short foot. It didn’t grow right away, but as we moved on and preach it looked even.
We began to speak true identity. More students started coming and going from our group. We had around 20ish at one point just all ears to what we were saying. We had a group until for an hour or longer. You see, they know the word, they read it everyday, they read the stories, but where, when? It’s easy to, what we call, “believe”, but we’ve never seen what it talks about. We’ve never taken part of the Kingdom of God. All we know is that Jesus died for our sins and we now get to have a “relationship”, but then struggle with that relationship until we die, being bombarded by condemnation and living as who we’re not. We don’t actually get to take part of the promises, the fullness of what He really died for, our sonship. AHH FREEDOM!!! Kill the formulas and the face saving spirit!
All in all we had a great time. It was so fun. It went way better than I thot it would, so shame off me.
Thank you Jesus for freedom from man and an open door to Your heart.
Love you guys!
This weekend was packed with goodness, too much to type about. My fam, dan’s fam, and josh’s fam headed down to Van Buren, Ark to Harvesters Fellowship to see David Hogan and Todd White… I know, it sounds intense, and it was.
Wednesday night we started off with David, which I have only watched a few videos of him and heard stories. He is an awesome man of God. The testimonies, and his radical personality (all for God) made for an experience with God. He definitely lives the ministry of reconciliation. I want my life to bring others into an encounter with God every time I’m around cuz He’s around. Dan and I got wrecked at the Thursday afternoon session with David. I could hardly take all the revelation. My spirit man was celebrating in me. We were on our way back from the meeting and stopped for gas. We were ready to crush anything the devil had. We got into the store and I said to the cashier, “your back hurts huh?” and said “Yes..”. I asked for his hand and commanded the pain to leave. Then I asked how it was now. He said it was better. I just walked out and Dan was next. Dan came back out and said the guy said it was all gone. Boom!
After one of the afternoon sessions we stayed in the foyer healing and teaching, which Krystal got some footage. There were several that just wanted to see kingdom power done. They’ve heard the stories and know the verses just not much “hands on”. They seemed surprised at our boldness, but we just told them that we know who we are and then told them who they were. We were able to make connections with a few people there, which almost is my favorite part about conferences.
We skipped out on a afternoon session Friday and went to the mall to crush the works of the devil. I saw a girl on crutches, so we went after her. I had Ash and Josh with me. I asked her what was up and why the crutches. She said that she may have broken it and/or at least knew she sprang it pretty bad. I asked her what she couldn’t do and she said she couldn’t put any weight on it. So….she let me touch it and I commanded the pain leave. I then said check it…she slowly started putting weight on it and then I had her give me her crutches. She seemed stumped. She was putting all her weight on it. I got to speak a bit of identity to her since she was a “christian”. When we walked by the store again she was telling her dad and he was smiling.
Then we walked in Pac-Sun and I approach a young couple and asked the guy about his knees. At first he said that they were good. So I asked how his back was (just covering his bases). He then said no nothing with the back, but my knees do hurt, which that was the word I got. I had him show me what he could do before it hurt (normally I have them tell me what they can’t do and then show me) He could hardly bend them half way before it hurt. I then hit it once and had him check it. No bueno. Then I hit it again and shabba…he was good, no pain. I got to talk to them for about 10-20 minutes about kingdom and identity. They also said they were christians, yet it seemed new to them. Meaning they knew the verses, but experience. The “church” is creating a “hearers only” army…not good. It’s an army made by satan.
Saturday Todd spoke and blew everyone away. He is so genuine, too genuine for most. I love it. He is a man sold out for the Gospel. IF YOU HAVE NOT LISTENED TO TODD OR DAN, DO IT! (link to the left) All in all for the whole conference, there was too much revelation to take in. So we got the DVD’s. I am ready for Holy Spirit to breathe on the word that is already in me that I am not walking in.
Me and my wife left before the Sunday morning with Todd, which they got a photo op with Him without us. I also heard they got some good mall time in Fayetteville afterward. I’ll try to get some of the others to start writing their experiences. I feel God is starting to make a family (growing) where everyone is walking in it. So look out for more testimonies and videos, which I hope y’all enjoyed my journey at the hotel
ha. Good times.
From the connections we made. Patricia Howard will be coming down Saturday to hit streets with us. She is ready to get this thing. Also Jerome Todd, another brother we met, wants us to come down to his house church in Arkansas and fellowship, worship, teach, etc. with him. Very exciting. Doors are starting to open up and God is doing it. Which reminds me. I got a message on facebook Saturday:
“Hey man,
I’ve never met you lol but you prayed for my friend at I Love America and he was healed. He told me about it and how you prayed for one of his friends and her leg grew out. He led me to where you were but we couldn’t find you. You were probably off praying for other people.
I had a weight lifting injury 3 months ago and it doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to heal. I was wondering if you could pray for me sometime. I know you live in Joplin but I would be willing to make the trip.”
So I messaged him back telling him we would be down for making the trip and to bring as many people as he wants to met up. So I’ll let you guys know how that goes. I don’t think I was writing this thing yet when we went to “I love America”, which it was an awesome time. We had at least 10+ healings so next year is gonna be amazing, as in healing/gospel time wise.
Anyways love you guys!
peace and grace!
